Course objective
The general objective of the course is to provide students with an understanding of the basic principles and knowledge for the planning, design and construction of water supply and sewerage systems. Specifically, by the end of the course students should be able to:
- Explain the objectives of water supply and sewerage systems
- Enumerate factors considered in the planning of water supply and sewerage systems
- Design the different components of a water supply system
- Design sewerage systems
